That each one of us, as sons of God, ^{Psalm 82:6; Hosea 1:10; Romans 8:16–17; Hebrews 12:9; D&C 11:30; 35:2; Moses 6:68} can fulfill our mission and destiny is made plain by these words of the Lord to the Prophet Joseph Smith: “Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments … may come unto the Father in my name, and in due time receive of his fulness.” ^{D&C 93:1,19}
