Most of this area is currently leased by the LDS Church to local farmers, but on the highest elevation of Spring Hill a temple block was dedicated for the third temple planned in Missouri; however no temple constructed was ever started.
The name of this place is an English rendition of a phrase from the pure Adamic language, which could possibly mean “Adam in the presence of God.” It is named such because it is believed to be a location were Adam blessed his sons, and where he will hold a meeting shortly before the return of Jesus Christ.
