Seattle Washington Temple

The Seattle Washington Temple was the first in Washington state and along the Pacific Northwest. It is one of only five that show the Angel Moroni holding golden plates; along with Los AngelesWashington D.C., Jordan River, and México City. It was the last temple that President Spencer W. Kimball would dedicate.

The temple is build on over twenty-three acres and has 110,000 square feet of floor space; giving enough room for four ordinance rooms, an thirteen sealing rooms. The landscaping has family themed status, water features, flowers, shrubs, trees, and surrounded by a grove of evergreens. It is exterior is covered with white marble aggregate, cast stone, and reinforced concrete.
