São Paulo Brazil Temple

São Paulo Brazil Temple

The first temple constructed in South America, the São Paulo Brazil Temple, sits on a beautifully landscaped tract of land on the western side of one of the largest cities in the world. Next to the temple you’ll find a meetinghouse and a patron housing facility along with a decorative water fountain and colorful flowerbeds. Twenty-five years after it’s opening, an extensive renovation and expansion project was underway and a gold-leafed statue of the angel Moroni was added; followed by a re-dedication in 2004.
